By not limiting himself to any medium, materials, or how they are assembled or
compiled, Mark Signorelli continues to challenge the definition of “art,” as well
as the notion of art as a commodity. His frequent use of absurd and often
whimsical titles, which in themselves are often quite revealing, typically
belie a much more serious subtext for those willing to examine the work further.
